The presence of Muslims throughout the Valencian Community was notorious. Many of these fortifications still preserve numerous intact engravings and decoys of what was a long-lasting history. Torralba del Pinar, located in the municipality group of Espadán-Mijares, is a town with many symbolic places related to religious art. You will start the day visiting the village church, which has an 18th-century processional cross of great artistic value. Ancient legends say that in the church you could see engraved crosses that the boys engraved before going to war, as a symbol of receiving protection.
